Come relax to the picturesque beachfront views of Bear Lake at Grizzly Bear Cabin. 6000 sq feet of fun with the lake just steps away, you'll never run out of things to do! This 2012 Bear Lake Parade of Homes People's Choice Award and Best Floor Plan is a jewel among vacation rentals!

Whether you are playing hard at the lake, climbing the fort or play set, testing your ping pong or pool skills, simply listening to the jukebox while enjoying the views, or watching the latest blockbuster on our 110" screen in our 13 person home theater; you are sure to feel the stress melt away. 

For your convenience, a fully stocked kitchen and kitchenette, 6 bathrooms (one which is ADA compliant), 3 laundry rooms, a basement and loft space, and 10 bedrooms round out the space. 


While this space has room for 28 persons in beds, There are also 8 sleeping mats for use in the loft, total max of 36-40 persons. Need more space? Our Bear Lake Lodge is directly across the street, and is a great companion for extra large groups. 


2 night minimum Monday-Wednesday. 3 night minimum Thursday-Sunday and over holidays during summer months.

We want this vacation to be one that you remember for a lifetime. To make sure you don’t forget anything, here’s a checklist for what to bring when you stay at Grizzly Bear Cabin:

  • 4WD  is advised for winter travel

  • Bath & beach towels & wash cloths

  • Personal toiletries

  • Extra Paper towels

  • Bed linens or sleeping bags for mats if you have over 28 guests

What We’ll Provide

In addition to all the wonderful amenities available at the Grizzly Bear Cabin, we will provide:

  • Bed linens for all the beds 

  • Dish towels and dish cloths

  • Paper towels, one roll per day of stay

  • Toilet paper, one roll/bath/day of stay

  • Garbage bags

  • Cleaning supplies

Lodge Rules & Instructions

1.

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and Check-out time is 11a.m. No exceptions!

2.

NO Smoking & NO pets are allowed anywhere on property!

NO fireworks permitted, even on holidays.

$200 fine for not following these rules! 

3.

Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Please help us in NOT disturbing our neighbors.

4.

Be sure to NOT pour any grease or chemicals, facial tissue, feminine products, diapers, etc. down the drain or toilet.

 We are on a sewage grinder pump and nothing can go in except septic approved toilet paper.

5.

Gather all trash in large garbage bags and deposit them in the dumpsters DAILY. Remember you are in the mountains and critters and bears love left out food and messes.

6.

You will need to bring your own bath and beach towels unless arranged prior to check-in. Kitchen linens are provided. 

7.

Please do not adjust the temperatures of the refrigerators. If you turn them too cold, they will freeze up. Please allow the refrigerators to cool your warm food at least 24 hours before calling us with problems.  This is a natural adjustment when putting room temp food in a fridge.

Check-in

Instructions for unlocking the doors:

  1. The access code is printed on your invoice.  The housekeeper will set the code just prior to check-in.

  2. The deadbolt locks on the front door and basement door have numeric buttons. Press the corresponding button for each digit in your access code. The deadbolt will disengage, and you can open the door.

  3. To lock the deadbolt when you leave the cabin, just push the button with the lock on it.

Check-out

Please do the following before the cleaning service arrives:

  1. On a daily basis gather all the trash in the large black garbage bags and take to the dumpsters.

  2. Clean kitchen and dishes and put dishes away in the cupboards

  3. Take the sheets only off the beds that were used and put in the laundry room, start the laundry & keep it going until check out. Small loads in main level washer only-no towels or heavy clothing

  4. Be sure to check underneath beds and couches for your belongings.

Parking

  • Parking is limited to the following: Seven spaces in front of the Cabin and 5 spaces in back. Trailers or other cars are to be parked in the area just beyond the parking area on the way to the beach.  Do not park or stop in the 10 foot wide road going out to the beach.  It is considered the street even though it is grassy.

  • For snow removal please call the property manager, Joyce (520-404-5211) or call JoAnne (435-881-1560).  Please call the property manager  for snow removal from the parking spots and the stairs.

Kitchen
  • Extra paper towels should be in the cabinet above the refrigerator.

  • Extra toilet tissue is located under each sink of each bathroom.

Camping/Outdoors
  • Please do not trespass onto our neighbors’ property to the north.

  • The speed limit for ATV’s on the beach is 15mph, 5 mph on the property & must have a license, helmet, proper insurance .

  • Gas BBQ’s are allowed: There is one BBQ grill on the deck of the cabin which is connected to the cabin’s propane tank.

Bedrooms
  • Please take special precaution if your young children are sleeping on any mattress that the mattresses do not get soiled or wet. If an accident occurs, please notify property manager as soon as possible. All the beds have clean sheets. We suggest you bring sleeping bags for the ones who want to sleep on the floor.

  • Please do not sit on the comforters in order to keep them clean. When wanting to sit or lounge on beds, PLEASE lift off comforter. With so many people using sunscreen & suntan oils, the comforters can get ruined very quickly. Please note that you will be charged replacement costs for obvious neglect or abuse of any and items in lodge. 

Other Rules and Helpful Tips
  • To keep the cabin cool in the summer:

    • Keep the blinds closed when facing the lake as much as possible. Feel free to adjust them in the open or closed position. Close in the morning, open at 11am.

    • Keep doors and windows closed, unless you wish to use cross-ventilation to let fresh air into the cabin. Please turn off the AC if you do this.

    • Do not set the thermostat lower than 75 degrees during the day as it will freeze up. The thermostats have been pre-programmed to provide optimal comfort during the day and night.

  • We prefer only adults or knowledgeable youth operate the electronic equipment (TV, VCR, DVD) & HV.

  • Hooking up games to the TVs is not allowed.  You will be responsible for the cost of a technician to fix it.

  • Don’t leave any liquids on the furniture.

  • Please do not overstuff washers.

  • Lost & Found: We are not responsible for items left at the home. They will be discarded after 30 days. $25 charge to return items.
