NO Smoking & NO pets are allowed anywhere on property!

Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Please help us in NOT disturbing our neighbors.

4.

Be sure to NOT pour any grease or chemicals, facial tissue, feminine products, diapers, etc. down the drain or toilet.

We are on a sewage grinder pump and nothing can go in except septic approved toilet paper.

5.

Gather all trash in large garbage bags and deposit them in the dumpsters DAILY. Remember you are in the mountains and critters and bears love left out food and messes.

6.

You will need to bring your own bath and beach towels unless arranged prior to check-in. Kitchen linens are provided.

7.

Please do not adjust the temperatures of the refrigerators. If you turn them too cold, they will freeze up. Please allow the refrigerators to cool your warm food at least 24 hours before calling us with problems.  This is a natural adjustment when putting room temp food in a fridge.

Check-in

Instructions for using the key box:

  1. The access code is printed on your invoice.  The housekeeper will set the code just prior to check-in.

  2. Push the CLEAR button down then push the buttons that correspond to the combination given to you.

  3. Push down the OPEN button and while holding it down pull the lid out from the key box toward you. You open the face of the key box towards you and do not take the whole box off the door handle.

  4. If you have entered the incorrect combination, you can reset the buttons by sliding down the CLEAR button.

  5. When you release the OPEN button, the combination will clear.

  6. To replace the lid, push in the buttons that correspond to the combination you have set. Place the lid into the key box by first setting the bottom of the lid into the vault. Push down and hold the OPEN button as you return the lid to the closed position. The lid will lock into place, and the combination will clear when the OPEN button is released.

  7. Some properties may have a Master Lock which is very easy to use, similar to a briefcase lock.

Very Important Rules

  • This property is limited to 20 persons over 3 years of age per the city.  (Max 14 adults)

  • Please take off your shoes if they get muddy and leave near the door on the mats

  • Trash Dumpster directions: from Hwy 30 & Buttercup Lane go west one block or 2 driveways and turn right-you will see the dumpsters ahead.

  • Please keep showers to a minimum time and baths to a minimum amount of water as there is only one water heater.

  • Please be respectful of all items and furniture in the lodge. You will be responsible for replacement costs for excess use/damage.

Parking

  • Parking is limited to 11 spots on the property. Do NOT park on or within 5’ of the street pavement-you will be fined.  We have new deep parking spots for 3-6 more vehicles, ideal for a boat & vehicle attached.

  • For snow removal please call the property manager, Joyce (520-404-5211) or call JoAnne (435-881-1560).  Garden City (435-946-2901) removes the snow from the street, not driveway. Please call the property manager for snow removal from the parking spots and the stairs.

Kitchen/Bathroom

  • Please put kitchen items where they belong along with all other items.

  • Extra paper towels should be in the cabinet above the refrigerator; Extra toilet tissue is located under each sink of each bathroom.

Camping/Outdoors

  • NO camping, tents, or RVs allowed.

  • Please do not trespass onto our neighbors’ property.

  • The speed limit for ATV’s is 15mph & 20 mph for cars.

  • Fire rings may be restricted from time to time. You must have permission from the manager to use them.

Bedrooms

  • Please take special precaution if your young children are sleeping on any mattress that the mattresses do not get soiled or wet. Should an accident occur, please alert property manager as soon as possible. All the beds have clean sheets.

  • We suggest you bring sleeping bags for the ones who want to sleep on the floor and possibly the futons.

  • Please do not sit on the comforters in order to keep them looking like new and clean.  When lounging on beds, lift off comfortable and sit or lounge on the sheets. With so many people using sunscreen & suntan oils, the comforters can get ruined very quickly.

  • Extra bedding for the futon is the drawer of armoire in the loft.

Other Rules

  • Do not raise the wood blinds.  Feel free to adjust them in the open or closed position. Close in the morning, open at 11am. By doing this you will keep the lodge cooler.  An air conditioner is in the loft.   Ceiling fans in all rooms.

  • There is a gas heater in the great room that looks like a fireplace.  Do not try to pry open the gas heater-it can only be controlled by the thermostat in the hallway.

  • We prefer only adults or knowledgeable youth operate the electronic equipment (TV, VCR, DVD) & HV. Hooking up games to the TVs is not allowed.

  • Don’t leave any liquids on the furniture.
